Course covers: Creating Types, Tables, Views, Constraints
and Business Entities using the Gnosis Business Rule Manager,
using a simplified real life illustration. Goals; to provide
understanding of how to implement a database that defines
business attributes, rules, and entities; to understand
how to implement business rules using tables and views; to
understand how to implement object to object relationships,
class hierarchies and recursive relationships; to understand
check constraints and enforcement on activity, commit and
rollback; to understand business entities and their relationship
to applications; to understand how to check and generate a
database. 4 to 5 days.
Managing a Gnosis
Database for DBAs
Course covers; Checking data models, generating the database
objects. Defining indexes and storage to file groups. Defining
what to generate, and understanding the stored procedure and
object interfaces. Understanding background processing and
options for running it. Implementing replication options such
as of the gnosis schema and the generated database schema. Managing an Auditable Database.

Application Development using
the Gnosis Business Rule Manager
Course covers; Designing Applications using definitions from the Gnosis Business Rule Manager. Utilising Gnosis stored procedure and object interfaces.
Managing Gnosis Transactions from the Applcation and interacting with the Gnosis Work Manager. Using
connection pooling and web application design. Migrating existing
systems. 2 to 3 days.
